Jamie on Knife Skills
This is just an excellent video, knife skills are something we all should aspire to having if we are going to be efficient in the kitchen. As a chef I have knife skills, but even I learned from this video. Jamie explains it so clearly and makes it look easy, and he is certainly safety concious.
Jamie on 30 Minute Meals

Jamies 30 Minute Meals Episode 1 – Piri Piri Chicken and Portuguese Tarts
Jamie Oliver does it again with his 30 minute meals, he draws us in and makes us want to have a go by making cooking simple, fun and quick. Im such a fan of this unpretentious Essex boy, he just says it as it is and, although a fully trained chef, does not come across all “cheffy” and superior, making us feel unworthy, he just creates great food and shares it with us.
The first in the series shows us how to prepare piri piri chicken, smashed potatoes and a green salad followed by Portuguese custard tarts, all in under 30 minutes. Sounds impossible, but believe me, he proves it. Watch the two videos below and see for yourself.
