Jamies described herbs as the cornerstone to historic medicine and genius cooking. He advocates growing fresh herbs at home and if this is not possible, at least buy fresh herbs from your local market. He talks about woody herbs being easier to grow all year round without the need for reseeding, buy a pot for a couple of pounds and keep it going by taking cuttings and replanting.

Love the cat in this one. Jamie tells us off for cluttering up our kitchens with stuff in our life that just doesn’t belong in this area. So get rid of the animals, kids toys, pencil cases etc, and turn your kitchen back into the efficient working space that is should be.

This is just an excellent video, knife skills are something we all should aspire to having if we are going to be efficient in the kitchen. As a chef I have knife skills, but even I learned from this video. Jamie explains it so clearly and makes it look easy, and he is certainly safety concious.
